lowe 70s southeast virginia. we have ourselves patchy fog. yesterday afternoon and last night. i thought this might be a shower trying to form here. needless to say that is probably going to stay to our north. a result of last night's storms with trees down and left over fog patches this morning. another line of storms firing up across the great lakes. it should stay farther to our northwest. because we have more moisture. it is exceptional for this time of the year, unstable and is likely to produce showers and thunderstorms. yesterday's high reached 91 in baltimore. 95 richmond. and we stay very much on the edge of the air mass. we expect temperatures going from 67 this morning close to 90 this afternoon. we tap into some of that energy. we'll be watching the mountains here, firing up showers and storms again, the possibility some do carry into the western suburbs. depending on some heat the actual wind direction will determine when these storms carry their way into baltimore. we could do it again on friday as we tap into more heat, finally pushing through close to normal ove

this is a distinct line that appeared to be along skyline drive, in virginia. much like yesterday, when we were following some of these storms, the typical idea is they stay to the west or the better shot would be to the west. a few people had been saying how they were watching those rain bands. a company of -- a couple of showers coming out of there, damage reports with two storms yesterday. another cluster developed around dc, and there may be a repeat that have. the atmosphere does like to repeat itself, sometimes. there is a chance as we head into this afternoon, and tomorrow afternoon as well, we are pushing the upper 80s to lower 90s. not as much computer model support. there will be a cold front that will swing in and bump heat out of the air. the will diminish the heat and really settle things out for a decent weekend. next week could be iffy. because we are starting to creep up the dew point, high moisture con ten, especially after about 5 -- about 5:00 p.m. if you happen to have a rainstorm a better chance of morning fog as we headed into the extended

down south, look at culpeper, almost 100 today down into virginia for the last day of summer. our radar shows clearing out, weather out in far western maryland is not going to make it in here in any significant way, you can see the line of showers and storms they're tracking along a boundary north and west of baltimore. this boundary is not going to come through. i think it's going to retreat northward and that's going to allow the hot humid air to keep flowing in out of the south and keep temperatures way above average by that 15, 20 degrees. our forecast model clear and sunny tomorrow and into the day on friday, another clear sunny day with a south wind and no fresh cool air coming in. it's a summer scenario for the first couple of days after fall. what can i say? sometimes that happens. tomorrow, first full day of fall, and mostly sunny. but not fall-like at 88 degrees. tomorrow night, down to 67 or so with a few clouds. when can we expect more autumn-like weather? not really until sunday. that's our big abc 2 extreme makeover sunday night but the bottom line is we have a c
